More Interns Have Arrived!

Anessa Puskar is spending the summer working as an intern at Vulcanium in Chicago. Anessa worked hard in high school, was a part of the National Honors Society, and took some very challenging AP courses.  She finished with an outstanding GPA above a 4.0. In her free time, Anessa enjoys skiing. She is a competitive alpine downhill racer and competes in both USSA & Wijara competitions, and has placed first, second, and third many times. Anessa hopes to become both a neurologist and a business owner and will attend Loyola University in the fall as a business major on a pre-med track.

Alit Ponkaew is another intern at Vulcanium.  Alit grew up in Bangkok, Thailand. He currently resides in the Oak Park community of Illinois. Alit’s final grade point average was an impressive 3.9. He was a member of the OPRF High School Chess Team and also a member of the High School Technology Club. In addition to these, he is also an active member of the Boys Scouts of America and is an avid computer enthusiast. In the Fall, Alit will attend Northern Illinois University and plans on majoring in computer engineering and computer science.  He hopes to become a software engineer. Alit is very happy to be an intern at Vulcanium, and the staff is thrilled to have him as well.

Chris Ivers is our third summer intern at Vulcanium. Chris graduated from Crystal Lake South High School.  A strong athlete, Chris ran track and played football and was named 1st Team All-Area, 2 time all conference and 2 time All State Academic teams. Chris proudly shared that he earned enough money, through jobs and savings, to buy his own car. He is also pleased that he was able to maintain a 3.7 GPA even while participating in both track and football. Chris plans to attend Elmhurst College in the fall to study business and be a part of the Elmhurst football team.

Jacob Andreasson  is an intern for UPM’s California branch in La Mirada. He has been helping with a multitude of projects there including qualifying sales leads. Jacob lives in Long Beach, California and enjoys a wide range of activities the west coast has to offer, including surfing, snow skiing, lacrosse, and ocean fishing. This fall, Jacob will be an incoming sophomore at Chico State studying Recreation Administration focusing on the Hotel Industry. We are very excited to have him as a part of our team.
