United Performance Metals has welcomed back interns for the summer of 2023. These hard-working students will learn what it is like to work at a world-class specialty metal solutions center, provide extra hands for the team, and bring new perspectives to our various departments. Their efforts will allow UPM to complete important projects and provide mentoring opportunities for current employees across multiple teams. Cameron Bridges is studying Finance at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He will be working in the Finance and Marketing departments this summer. Cameron is from Hamilton, Ohio and is excited to gain professional work experience and make new friends and connections. In his free time, Cameron enjoys working out and fishing.
Emma Fehringer is majoring in Business Analytics at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Emma is working in the Quality department as a Quality Analyst intern. She is from Lebanon, Ohio. Emma is excited to gain technical skills in the Quality department and learn professional skills, including teamwork and networking. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading.
Brady McCord is back for his second year of interning with UPM! He is majoring in Marketing at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. This summer Brady is working with the HR and Safety departments. He is looking to gain experience in multiple departments and a better understanding of the company and its various teams. In his free time Brady enjoys playing and watching sports as well as traveling.
Raygen Graff is majoring in Robotic Engineering at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She is working in the laser and robotic intern program in UPM’s Additive Manufacturing Solutions center. She is from Ross, Ohio. This summer, Raygen hopes to gain real world experience while learning about robotic engineering and utilizing laser technology. Raygen likes to read, paint, and play video games in her free time.
Ben Clarke is studying Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He is working in the Quality department this summer. Ben is from Cincinnati, Ohio. This summer Ben hopes to gain experience working with datasets and growing his professional network. In his free time, Ben enjoys fishing, ultimate frisbee, and decentralized finance.
Nick Gavin is studying Mechanical Engineering at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Nick will be working with UPM Additive Solutions this summer. He is from Cincinnati, Ohio. Nick is excited to continue learning new skills in the additive manufacturing industry, as well as develop valuable connections. In his free time, Nick enjoys playing guitar and running.
Charlie Williams is a graduate student at Cleveland State University currently pursuing an MBA. This summer, he is working with the UPM Sales team. Charlie is from Cincinnati, Ohio. Charlie is excited to gain experience in the sales industry. In his free time, Charlie enjoys hiking and going to the lake with his friends.
