304H Stainless Steel Plate - UNS S30409


Type 304H is the most versatile and widely used of all stainless steels. Its chemical composition, mechanical properties, weldability, and corrosion/oxidation resistance provide the best all-around performance at relatively lower cost. This product has excellent low-temperature properties and responds well to hardening by cold working. The carefully controlled chemical compositions of various sub-grades provide a wide range of cold work hardenability – making it suitable for various applications by direct drawing without intermediate annealing.
