800H/HT are higher hot strength modifications of Alloy 800, with higher carbon content and controlled aluminum/titanium. The result is much higher boiler and pressure code design values. The creep and rupture strength properties for grades 800H/HT are significantly higher than Alloy 800. The mechanical properties of alloys 800H/HT, combined with their resistance to high temperature corrosion, makes these alloys exceptionally useful for many applications that involve long-term exposure to elevated temperatures and corrosive atmospheres.
Applications include:
- Petrochemical equipment for heat exchangers, such as in ethylene or vinyl chloride production
- Steam/hydrocarbon reforming for catalyst tubing, manifolds, and quenching system tubing
- Hydrogenation heat tubing
- Power generation for steam superheating tubing
- High temperature heat exchangers in gas cooled nuclear reactors
All of our 800H/HT nickel sheet and nickel coil is ordered to specific decimal thicknesses.
We supply 800H/HT nickel sheet in widths from 48" down to .250" and standard lengths of 96" and 120", but are capable of shearing and custom leveling to your required lengths and widths.
800H/HT nickel coil can also be slit to your desired width.
